Solar Activity

.24 hr Summary...
Solar activity was very low. Region 2729 (S05W51, Cro/beta) was void of
notable activity. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available
satellite imagery.

.Forecast...
Solar activity is expected to continue at very low levels on 7-9 Dec.

Energetic Particles

.24 hr Summary...
The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels before
becoming enhanced to moderate levels midway through the period. The
greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.

.Forecast...
Moderate to high flux levels are expected on 7-9 Dec due to CH HSS
effects. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at
background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

.24 hr Summary...
The Solar wind environment was nominal during the period. Wind speeds
averaged near 390 km/s. The total field averaged around 3 nT and the Bz
component saw a maximum southward deflection of -3 nT. The phi angle
remained in a positive orientation.

.Forecast...
Enhanced solar wind conditions are expected to return and continue
throughout the forecast period (7-9 Dec) due to CH HSS influence.

Geospace

.24 hr Summary...
The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels.

.Forecast...
The geomagnetic field is expected to be at active levels on 07 Dec due
to a CIR ahead of a negative polarity CH HSS. Mostly unsettled
conditions are expected 08-09 Dec, with a chance of isolated active
periods, due to CH HSS effects.
