On August 29, 2023 the Sugarcreek Borough Police Department received a report from Rural King managers that an individual was caught on camera committing retail theft.
The report came in that on Sunday August 27, 2023 an unknown male entered the Rural King store, once in the store the unknown male walked back to the Beebe gun sections and picked up a few items and placed them in his pocket. The male then grabbed a box containing a BB gun and walked out of the store without paying for any of the items.
