Sugarcreek Borough Police received information on June 1, 2023 that a family had moved into and is residing in a residence that is condemned in the 100 block of Meadville Pike.
Upon arrival officers eventually made contact with Michael Ritts III, 31 of Franklin. Upon opening the door drug paraphernalia was viewed immediately.
Officers and Children and Youth Services checked the residence due to a small child being there as well. While in the residence officers learned that Michael Ritts III had been residing at the residence, and other items of drug paraphernalia and marijuana were recovered. Most items were at a height that allowed them to be reached by a small child.
Michael Ritts III was charged with the following:
Possession of a Controlled Substance Marijuana – Misdemeanor
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Misdemeanor
