On June 1, 2023 Sugarcreek Borough officers were dispatched to a brush fire in the 200 block of Allenbaugh Road. Upon identifying the person whom started the fire, same was found to have outstanding warrants from the Venango County Court.
Todd A Shoffstall, 51 of Franklin, was taken into custody by officers and search incident to the arrest resulted in recovering a controlled substance, crystal meth, in the defendant’s cigarette pack.
Shoffstall was turned over to the Venango County Sheriff’s Office and placed into the Venango County Jail on his outstanding warrant.
