D.U.I. Drugs – Allegheny Blvd

On March 29, 2021 Sugarcreek Borough Police were monitoring speed on Allegheny Blvd. Officers noted a tan sedan traveling at a high rate of speed swerving in and out of traffic without using a turn signal.

Officers stopped the vehicle and were able to detect the odor of burnt marijuana. Officers conducted a Standard Field Sobriety Test and subsequently arrested the driver, Anthony Calhoun, 58 of Franklin, for driving under the influence.

The vehicle was towed back to the Sugarcreek Borough Police Department where a search warrant was applied for and granted. Marijuana, rolling papers and baggies containing cocaine were found.

The following charges were filed through Magistrate Lowrey’s office.
