Terroristic Threats and Harassment

Known individuals came to station to report that Alex Attleberger, 19 of Franklin, had been contacting them approximately 15 plus times a day and harassing them.

They also advised that when he was told numerous times to stop contacting them he continued. As they blocked Alex Attleberger on his accounts he would create new social media accounts, use other phones, and other surreptitious means to contact the victims.

During a phone call the evening prior to the victim’s coming in to station Alex Attleberger contacted the victims again by other means. When he was advised again to stop contacting them and Alex Attleberger stated that he would drive over to the house and shoot it up, he then continued the threat and stated that he would shoot up the persons in the house.

Alex Attleberger was charged with the following:
Terroristic Threats – Misdemeanor 1, 3 counts
Harassment (Multiple Subsections) – Misdemeanor 3, 3 counts

On December 21, 2023 Alex Attleberger was taken into custody and arraigned before Judge Kirtland.

Unable to post the $2,500 monetary bail, Alex Attleberger was lodged into the Venango County Jail with a preliminary hearing date of January 3, 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Venango County Courthouse.
