On October 13, 2023 at 8:33 AM Sugarcreek Borough Police initiated a traffic stop with a vehicle that was displaying a PA Registration that was insurance cancelled/suspended.
Upon contact with the driver, Lucy Lou Young, 43 of Franklin, it was discovered that her license required her to operate a vehicle with an ignition interlock. Officers were able to determine that no ignition interlock device was present or operational in the vehicle.
Lucy Lou Young was charged with the following:
Illegally Operating a Motor Vehicle Not Equipped with Ignition Interlock – Misdemeanor
