The Borough of Sugarcreek Police Department is currently accepting applications until Friday November 19, 2021 at 3:00 PM for a full time police officer.
Starting salary is $40,872.00
Applicants must obtain and complete a Borough of Sugarcreek Application form and a background waiver form which may be obtained on the Borough of Sugarcreek website, www.sugarcreekborough.us or by clicking here. Application and waiver form can also be obtained at the Borough of Sugarcreek Administration Building located at 212 Fox Street, Franklin, PA 16323 between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday thru Friday.
It is recommended that a resume and any other related documentation in which the applicant feels appropriate should accompany the application.
Those applicants wishing to request Veteran’s preferences are required to send a copy of their DD Form 214 as proof of service.
Applicants must meet the following qualifications to apply:
*Applicant must be 21 years of age at the time of testing
*Applicant must be Act 120 certified
*Applicant must be able to complete and pass a physical agility test
*Applicant must be able to pass a thorough background and credit check
