Sugarcreek Borough Police had been advised of an issue with dogs getting loose and with a minor child, 2 years of age, playing in a burning pit.
While officers were dealing with this issue they became aware of the same child found wondering the streets of Reno with an extremely soiled Paw Patrol diaper and a pit bull puppy.
The mother, Chrystal Chavis of 707 Chestnut St, Reno, did not come looking for the child for approximately 15 minutes. When the mother did show up she advised the witnesses that her other child was supposed to be F****** watching him.
Chrystal Chavis was arraigned by Magistrate Kirtland and released on $5,000 bail.
