Arrest Warrant yields Cocaine/Crack Cocaine and Marijuana

On September 19, 2023 Probation and Parole requested the Sugarcreek Borough Police Department to assist them while they serve an arrest warrant at a residence on Venango Street, Franklin. Upon arrival agents from Probation and Parole entered into the residence while officers from Sugarcreek Borough stood security outside.

An agent from Probation and Parole requested an officer to step inside the residence due to finding a large bag containing five individual bags of marijuana while searching the residence of a parolee. The agent found the marijuana in a black book bag in the bedroom where the home owner, Alyson Ream, 37, and Gregory Brower, 37, were in.

Alyson Ream on at least three separate occasions made the verbal statement that the marijuana found was hers and that she wanted to take responsibility for the marijuana. Alyson Ream also mentioned while on the phone with her mom and while in front of officers that she had cash in a black coat and asked her mother to put money on all their books while they are in jail. Alyson Ream and Gregory Brower were placed in handcuffs and taken to the Venango County Jail for a parole revocation.

Also located in the residence was Terrence Loggins, 38. Terrance Loggins was found in the upstairs hallway of the residence and had a felony warrant for his arrest on other charges. Terrance Loggins was found to be in possession of money, marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia while being taken into custody.

The Sugarcreek Borough Police Department without any further searching of the residence and after getting a search warrant began searching the rest of the residence belonging to Alyson Ream. During the search, Agents and officers found and took as evidence the following items: approximately $3,455 in cash, the cell phone of Alyson Ream, the cell phone of Gregory Brower, the cell phone of Terrance Loggins, a large bag containing five individual baggies of marijuana ready for sale and distribution, one baggy containing multiple small bags of suspected cocaine and crack cocaine ready for sale and distribution along with other drug paraphernalia.

During the search officers found an id, social security card and other personal items of Gregory Brower in the same book bag where the large bag containing five other bags of marijuana was found.

To conclude their search and through their investigation it was learned all three suspects played a vital role in the sale and distribution of the drugs and drug paraphernalia mentioned above along with the amount of cash found. All three individuals committed overt actions in the furthering of the sale and delivery of controlled substances.
