On November 23, 2022 the Sugarcreek Borough Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Parker Ave., for a call. While at the residence speaking with the female, officers noted drug paraphernalia in plain view.
There was a child approximately 2 years old that was noted to be in the house. When asked, the female, who was identified as Monica Stark, 30 of Franklin, stated that she had felt fine and had been consuming the controlled substance throughout the morning when she started having chest pains.
Monica Stark stated that she was the person that was left in charge of the child whom officers were able to determine later to be 23 months old.
Monica Stark was charged with the following:
Endangering the Welfare of a Child – Misdemeanor 1
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Misdemeanor 1
Charges were filed through Magistrate Kirtland’s office.
