Sugarcreek Borough Police had been advised of a motor vehicle accident on September 28, 2021 at 7:49 AM in the 1200 block of Allegheny Blvd. The vehicle had struck another vehicle traveling south.
Unit one had passed unit two and when pulling back in front of unit 2, unit one struck the front drivers side with his rear passenger side causing minor damage to both vehicles.
The driver of unit one continued to drive down the roadway, who then was stopped and advised of the accident and then was shown the corresponding marks from his vehicle to unit two. Both vehicles were driven from the scene and there were no injuries.
A 28 year old male from McKeesport driving a 2018 Freightliner Penske rental truck (unit one) was cited for careless driving, turning signals and required movements.
