On July 12, 2021 at approximately 2:20 PM officers encountered persons around Big Lots on Allegheny Blvd. whom had been identified by reliable information as being involved in the sale and distribution of a controlled substance (heroin).
Upon contact it was determined that criminal activity was present and officers recovered approximately 5.5 grams of heroin and over $900.00 in US currency.
Upon identifying the suspects all three persons were found to reside in Youngstown, Ohio, with two of them having outstanding warrants for parole violations.
Sedric Johnson, 24, and Taqwan Scott, 22, were charged with the following:
Possession with Intent to Deliver (heroin).
Criminal Conspiracy
Possession of a Controlled Substance (heroin).
Both were arraigned before Magistrate Lowrey and bail was denied. Both were placed in the Venango County Jail.
