On May 29, 2021 Sugarcreek Borough Police were contacted by Shaw Industries for a report that an individual was using one of their corporate cards in an unauthorized manner between April and May 2021 at various locations in and around Venango County and Crawford County.
Through investigation officers were able to determine that Evan Charles Gibson, 42 of Oil City, had use the company card to purchase over $2,300 worth of merchandise in an unauthorized manner.
Evan Gibson did purchase gift cards and other items with the corporate card without authorization.
Gibson was charged with Access Device Fraud (Felony 3) and Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition (Felony 3).
