Sugarcreek Borough Police are investigating the theft of a motor vehicle from the Knights Inn located at 847 Allegheny Blvd.
The victim reported having stayed with the suspect for the last three days at the motel.
The victim reports Steven Mitchell had paid for the room but sometime between midnight and 9:30 AM on December 24, 2020, he took the keys and stole the car.
The vehicle is a 2001 Mustang with silver rims and PA registration of LGM0547. The car has white strips down the side with the word MUSTANG on it.
The victim reported Mitchell wanted to go to Erie. A warrant for his arrest was issued.
