Sugarcreek Borough Police were dispatched to a MVA on July 20, 2020 at 8:23 AM for a reported vehicle that had struck a tree on Rocky Grove Ave at Langara Drive.
The vehicle, operated by Jacob Littlefield, 45 of Edinboro, was traveling south on Rocky Grove Ave when he failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway. The vehicle traveled off of the roadway for approximately 130 feet before striking a tree.
Impact with the tree caused severe damage disabling the vehicle.
Littlefield was wearing his seat belt and airbags did deploy. He was able to remove himself from the vehicle.
Littlefield was transported to UPMC Northwest by Community Ambulance Service for unknown injuries.
Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
Multiple charges are pending following lab results.
