Sugarcreek Borough Police responded to the 100 block of Parker Ave, Rocky Grove, on May 25, 2020 at 9:38 AM for the report of a male in his 30’s that had approached a female resident on her porch steps and propositioned the female for sex, then shoved his hand down the front of his shorts.
Officers located the male in the 200 block of Parker Ave where he took off on foot between houses and was taken into custody without incident at the intersection of Egbert Street and Nesbit Street.
Rodney Allen Sutton, 32 of Franklin, was charged with Open Lewdness (M3), Disorderly Conduct (M3), Harassement (M3), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M), and Public Intoxication (S).
Sutton was arraigned before Magistrate Lowrey and remanded to the Venango County Jail on $5,000 straight bail.
A preliminary hearing has been set for June 3, 2020.
