Officers of the Borough of Sugarcreek conducted an investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine in and around the Sugarcreek Borough area.
On March 13, 2020 at about 2:40PM officers conducted a buy/bust operation in the parking lot of True Value.
The investigation yielded one ounce of methamphetamine, approximately $1,500 in cash and drug paraphernalia.
Police filed the following charges against Richard Ware, 35 of Oil City, and Keith Harper, 37 of Rocky Grove.
Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine – Felony
Criminal Use of a Communication Facility – Felony
Possession of Methamphetamine – Misd.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Misd.
All charges were filed as criminal conspiracy to commit.
Also charges was Rebecca Baker, 34 of Pleasantville. She was charged with the following.
Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine – Felony
Possession of Methamphetamine – Misd.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Misd.
All charges were filed as criminal conspiracy to commit.
All subjects were arraigned before Magistrate Lowrey and committed to Venango County Jail on $75,000 bail.
Preliminary hearings are scheduled for March 18, 2020.
