On March 15, 2020 at 9:21PM Justin Wilson, 29 of Franklin, was seen operating a motor vehicle. While he was at Sheetz, officer recognized Wilson and knew him to have active warrants fo his arrest as well. After verifying the warrants officers stopped Wilson.
A search incident to his arrest showed he had a small metal container that contained methamphetamine in his left front pocket. Officer noted multiple signs of impairment of a CNS stimulant such as methamphetamine from Wilson.
Officer advised him of this and informed him that he was also under arrest for DUI Drugs. Justin Wilson consented to a blood draw.
Wilson was taken to station where he was arraigned before Magistrate Kirtland on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
Kirtland placed Wilson into the Venango County Jail on $5,000 bail and a requirement for a substance abuse assessment.
