Sugarcreek Police were dispatched to 504 Fox Street, Rocky Grove, on December 19 at approx 8:58 pm, for a welfare check. Upon arrival officers discovered that a domestic had occurred prior to their arrival and male actor, Justin Engel, fled.
Officers determined that Justin Engel, 42 of Rocky Grove, had gotten into an altercation/argument with Joey Engel, also of Rocky Grove.
After he had been advised to leave Justin Engel became angry, backed his vehicle up and struck Joey Engel’s vehicle. At that point he backed up again and according to Joey Engel, he “gunned it” and struck her vehcile again. Justin then pushed her vehicle down the road spinning it sideways into the road. Justin then turned around and charged at the vehicle again missing the two victims, glancing off of her car a third time. He then slid to a stop through the intersection almost striking a house. Justin then fled the scene.
Officers have filed charges against Justin Engel.
