On February 19, 2020, Frances Strawbridge, 44, was seen operating a motor vehicle by officer. Officer was aware that her license was suspended.
Officer initiated a traffic stop with her vehicle. Multiple signs of impairment were noted by the officer while speaking with her. A known female occupant was in the vehicle along with an infant in the rear seat.
Strawbridge performed poorly on all phases of the Standardized Field Sobriety Test and ARIDE battery and was taken into custody for the suspicion of DUID.
Blood results indicated she had operated the motor vehicle with 9 different drugs in her system.
Strawbridge was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child for driving under the influence with an infant in the vehicle, DUI Drugs, and several other summary offenses.
Due to the gravity of the offense Officer requested and received a felony arrest warrant for Strawbridge from Magistrate Kirtland.
Strawbridge was summarily arrested and arraigned before Magistrate Kirtland on March 12, 2020.
Strawbridge was released on $7,500 unsecured bail.
