The Borough of Sugarcreek is currently accepting applications for Police Officers.
Applicants must obtain and complete an application and background waiver, which can be found on our website at www.sugarcreekborough.us Applications may also be picked up at the Administration Building Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm located at 212 Fox St, Franklin, PA 16323.
A resume is required with your application. Please also include any other relevant supporting documentation.
Those applicants wishing to request Veterans’ preference are required to send a copy of their DD Form 214 as proof of service.
Applicants must meet the following qualifications to apply:
- Applicant must be 21 years of age at the time of testing
- Applicant must have completed Act 120 basic training and be eligible for certification as a Police Officer
- Applicant must be able to complete and pass a physical agility test
- Applicant must be able to pass a thorough background investigation which includes a credit check
