On January 17, 2024 the Sugarcreek Borough Police were contacted by Probation and Parole for the report of an individual who had passed a drug free urine.
Probation and Parole reported to the Sugarcreek Borough Police that a parolee had passed a false urine sample. Kaitlyn O’Brien, 32 of Oil City, had reported and provided a urine sample as requested. The same was later determined by a laboratory to be “inconsistent with normal urine and suggest substitution”. Another urine sample provided by Kaitlyn O’Brien was tested and determined to contain methamphetamine and amphetamine.
Kaitlyn O’Brien was charged with the following:
Furnishing Drug Free Urine – Misdemeanor 3
Charges were filed through Magistrate Fish’s office.
