The Sugarcreek Borough Police Department would like to remind all motorists that on April 15, 2023 the authorized period for driving with studded snow tires will be ending.
Motorists are required by law to have the studded tires removed prior to this date to ensure that they are not in violation of the law.
Studded tires are authorized for operation from November 1st, through April 15th of each year. There is a sliding fine for those operating outside of the authorized time period.
