On September 29, 2022 known witnesses contacted the Sugarcreek Borough Police Department and advised that their 16 year old juvenile had received methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia from a coworker at Burger King located at 763 Allegheny Blvd., Franklin.
Through the course of the investigation Sugarcreek officers were able to determine that Andrew Hale, 34 of Franklin, had provided a 16 year old with methamphetamine and at times used the methamphetamine with the juvenile. It was also determined that Hale had provided the juvenile with drug paraphernalia.
Andrew Hale was charged with the following:
Endangering the Welfare of Children – Felony 3
Criminal Use of Communication Facility – Felony 3
Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) Felony
Corruption of Minors – Misdemeanor
Hale was arraigned before Magistrate Lowrey on October 12, 2022 at 1:30 PM and was released on $7,500 unsecured bail. Hale’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 19, 2022 at 8:30 AM at the Venango County Courthouse.
