On July 25, 2022 at approximately 9:53 AM Sugarcreek Borough Police Department responded to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Meadville Pike.
When Sugarcreek Borough Police arrived they were advised Sean Bickel, 26, and known victim had engaged in a verbal altercation. Sean Bickel made terroristic threats with a spring loaded knife stating he would stab the victim.
Bickel was taken into custody and was charged with the following:
Aggravated Assault – Felony 2
Terroristic Threats – Misd 1
Simple Assault – Misd 2
Sean Bickel was arraigned before Magistrate Lowrey. Unable to post $25,000 bail, Bickel was placed into the Venango County Jail.
