On June 11, 2021 at 9:58 AM Sugarcreek Borough police conducted a traffic stop in the 2800 block of U.S. 322 on a vehicle operated by Jacob Rankin, 27 of Titusville.
Rankin was speeding 77 mph in a posted 55 mph zone. Rankin was found to be Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and did possess a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Lab results were received and charges were filed.
