It has been brought to the attention of the Sugarcreek Borough Police Departments that Borough residents are receiving letters from SSRS requesting residents take the time to participate in a survey that, when completed, SSRS will send $10 in return.
While this letter appears to be legitimate and the company may very well send out $10 upon completion as stated, this Department cautions all residents against participating in the survey until residents themselves have researched the legitimacy of the company.
This Departments warns residents not to share any private information (date of birth, social security number, etc.) with anyone who may send letters in the mail that they are not familiar with, especially if the letter is addressed to “Resident.”
