Driving Under the Influence of Drugs/Alcohol

On February 21, 2021 at 9:05 pm Sugarcreek Borough Police Officers observed a blue Honda being operated by a known female, Emily Cooley, 40 of Franklin. Officers ran the registration and it came back suspended. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Atlantic Ave.

When officers ran the driver it was discovered she had a suspended license. Officers were able to detect multiple signs of impairment. Results of the blood test confirmed that at the time of the stop Emily Cooley was operating the vehicle while under the influence of Methamphetamine and alcohol.
