D.U.I.

On February 20, 2021 at 8:51 PM Sugarcreek Borough Police had a vehicle stopped for suspicion of D.U.I. During the investigation a black Jeep came on scene. The driver, Jack Edward Bingham, 68 of Guys Mills, exited the Jeep and began stumbling around the vehicle.

An officer approached Binghan and the Jeep and could detect the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. When asked if he needed help, Mr. Bingham stated that he was lost and saw the Officers on the stop and wanted directions.

Mr. Bingham was ran through standard Field Sobriety tests and found to be under the influence of an intoxicating substance. Mr. Bingham was arrested and transported to UPMC Seneca for a blood test. Blood results indicated that Mr. Bingham was operating the motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Mr. Bingham has been charged  via summons with one count each of the following.

Operating a Motor Vehicle with an Inoperable Head Light (Sum)
