On October 27, 2020 Sugarcreek Borough Police received a report that an unknown male had attempted to pay for food with what was described as an obvious counterfeit $100 bill on October 26, 2020 at approximately 6:30 PM at the A&C Buffet on Allegheny Blvd.
The male was attempting to purchase $65 worth of takeout food when confronted about the bill. The male stated that he would go to his car and get more money. He grabbed the food, exited the restaurant and failed to return.
