Sugarcreek Borough Police and the Venango County Children & Youth have been investigating a child endangerment case involving a 5 year old child were the teeth have been rotted off at the gum lines and no medical or dental treatment was provided.
Mark Allen Rice Jr., 36 of 130 1/2 Nesbit St., Franklin, was arrested and arraigned on his charge of Child Endangerment (Felony). He failed to pay bail and was remanded to Venango County Jail.
Kayla Matthews, 29 of Franklin, is still wanted. If seen please call 911.
A preliminary hearing for Rice was scheduled for early July.
