The Sugarcreek Borough Police Department received a report from Children & Youth alleging that Carter Carrier, 18 of Polk\/Franklin, had been corrupting the morals of a minor.<\/p>\n
Through a course of investigation officers were able to determine that Carter Carrier did possess explicit images of a known juvenile victim and corrupted the victim by having sexual relations with her after having her sneak out of the house and providing her with controlled substances.<\/p>\n
Carter Carrier was also noted to have had extensive conversations with the victim that were detrimental to the victim’s physical and mental health.<\/p>\n
Carter Carrier was arraigned before Judge Kirtland on the following charges:
\nUnlawful Contact with a Minor – Felony 3
\nSexual Abuse of Children – Felony 3
\nCorruption of Minors – Felony 3<\/p>\n
Unable to post the $25,000 bail, Carter was placed into the Venango County Jail.<\/p>\n
The Sugarcreek Borough Police would like to thank the Franklin Police Department for their assistance in apprehending Carter Carrier.<\/p>\n
