On July 20, 2023 a known victim came to the Sugarcreek Borough Police Department to report that they had been the victim of domestic violence.<\/p>\n
During the known victim\u2019s disclosure, they advised that Miles Gordon Hanlan, 31 of North Canton Ohio, over a course of time had been threatening, stalking, and harassing constantly. Making threats against the victim and their family if the victim did not get back together with him.<\/p>\n
Miles Gordon Hanlan was charged with the following:
\nAggravated Assault \u2013 Felony 1
\nTerroristic Threats \u2013 Misdemeanor 1
\nStalking \u2013 Misdemeanor 1
\nSimple Assault \u2013 Misdemeanor 2
\nHarassment \u2013 Misdemeanor 3<\/p>\n
A felony warrant was issued for Miles Gordon Hanlan due to the fact that the suspect had left the area. Sugarcreek Borough Police with the assistance of the North Canton Ohio Police Department were able to take Miles Gordon Hanlan into custody without incident.<\/p>\n
Miles Gordon Hanlan was extradited from Ohio and arraigned before Magistrate Kirtland on August 8, 2023 and was denied bail.<\/p>\n
