On August 7, 2023 at approximately 1:41 PM the Sugarcreek Borough Police Department received a report that Christian Ross, 25 from Franklin, made terroristic threats to a known victim’s sister over Facebook messenger.<\/p>\n
The known victim received notification from her sister that Christian Ross threatened to give her a “hotshot” and made other threatening statements about the known victim that caused fear for her life.<\/p>\n
The known victim stated she was frightened and that Christian Ross only lives two buildings away which caused her more worry. The known victim provided the Sugarcreek Borough Police Department with screen shots of the messages between Christian Ross and the victim’s sister.<\/p>\n
The Sugarcreek Borough Police Department filed the following charges against Christian Ross and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
\nTerrorist Threats – Misdemeanor
\nSimple Assault – Misdemeanor<\/p>\n
Sugarcreek Borough Police went to the address listed for Christian Ross and found him in his residence on August 9, 2023. Ross was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Franklin Police Department for fingerprinting. Christian Ross was fingerprinted and then arraigned in front of Magistrate Fish.<\/p>\n
Unable to post $25,000 straight bail, Ross was lodged into the Venango County Jail.<\/p>\n
