\n\nSugarcreek Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the 300 block of Sugarcreek Drive on February 4, 2020 at 3:45PM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Initial investigation shows that a Ford pickup was traveling south on Sugarcreek Drive when for unknown reasons the vehicle crossed the oncoming lane of travel, traveled off the roadway and struck a telephone pole causing substantial damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No injuries were reported at the crash, however a juvenile was transported later by private vehicle for evaluation at UPMC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The operator of the vehicle was taken into custody at the scene for suspected driving under the influence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sugarcreek Drive was closed for a while as Penelec made repairs to the damaged pole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
