On Monday, April 1, 2024, Sugarcreek Borough Police Department responded to the call of a road rage incident with shots being fired.<\/p>\n
Sugarcreek Borough Police were able to locate both vehicles and spoke with the drivers of both vehicles. It was determined that the driver of the green SUV had fired 1-2 rounds from his car in relation to the road rage.<\/p>\n
John Wagner, 55 of Oil City, was taken into custody and charged with the following:
\nAggravated Assault – Felony 1
\nRecklessly Endangering another Person – Misdemeanor 2
\nSimple Assault – Misdemeanor 2
\nReckless Driving – Summary<\/p>\n
John Wagner was arraigned before Magistrate Lowrey on April 1, 2024 and due to the seriousness of the charge was denied bail.<\/p>\n
