Retail Theft – Conspiracy to Commit Retail Theft

On January 25, 2023 Sugarcreek Borough Police were contacted by an employee of Rural King on Allegheny Blvd. The employee reported that four unknown males had entered the store of Rural King, removed two pairs of boots from their boxes, left their old footwear on the box, and then left the store. Another male who was with them then took the boxes and placed them back in the boot section.

Upon arrival officers reviewed the footage and store images of the persons involved. Through a course of investigation officers were able to determine that Gary Dahle, 41 of Oil City, was responsible for the theft of the Keen boots valued at $190.00.

Gary Dahle was charged with the following:

Retail Theft – Misdemeanor
Conspiracy to Commit Retail Theft – Misdemeanor

The charges against Gary Dahle were filed through Magistrate Kirtland’s office.
