On August 19, 2024 at 10:44 AM Sugarcreek Police and Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the 2900 block of RT 322.
Upon arrival Sugarcreek Borough Police spoke with the driver and passenger. The driver stated he was driving east on RT 322 when he lost control of the vehicle towing a trailer causing it to leave the roadway and strike the bank on the opposite side of the road. The vehicle came to rest block both lanes of travel on RT 322.
Both the driver and the passenger were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The crash closed RT 322 for approximately 1 and a half hours. The investigation was completed and the scene was cleared.
