On June 25, 2021 at 6:47 PM Sugarcreek Borough police were requested by Polk Borough for assistance with Tyler Brown, 26 of Utica, as they had a warrant for him. Polk police advised that Brown was riding a motorcycle and was alleged to be in the area of Old Route 322 and Foster Road. It was alleged that Brown had fled from authorities previously.
Upon arrival Sugarcreek Borough police identified Tyler Brown and were able to stop him on the motorcycle. The odor of burnt marijuana was about his person and other outward signs of impairment were noted.
Brown was taken into custody for the suspicion of DUI Drugs. Found on his person was a plastic bag of marijuana. Blood results returned showing that he had operated a motorcycle under the influence of marijuana.

Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance (Misd.)
Possession of Marijuana (Misd.)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misd.)
Operating a Motorcycle without Endorsement and other summary traffic violations.
