1/20/20

Sugarcreek Police conducted an investigation into possible weapons violations stemming from an incident earlier in December 2019.

Through the course of the investigation Lt. Baker was able to determine that Sean Penker of 412 Egbert Street, did know that a wanted individual, Kevin Wilson, had been at Penker's residence. Penker knew that the individual was wanted due to being advised by Lt. Baker of the active warrants.

Penker failed to notify authorities of Kevin Wilson being at his residence after being advised of the arrest warrants.

Penker was charged with Hindering Apprehension of Presecution, Providing False Information to Law Enforcement.

Penker was arraigned by District Justice Lowrey and placed into Venango County Jail on $15,000 bail.
